Shimano Hardbull 8+ Mantis Green 200 Meter Braided Line

 

A new series of PE is now available. The “bounce/stiffness” prevents line trouble, and the abrasion resistance is 3 times higher than before.

A new series of PE along with PITBULL. Honeywell’s Spectra® is used as the PE material. Eight-strand weave is finished by the MX2 method, which improves abrasion resistance and provides moderate “bounce/stiffness”. The PE line is easy to use with spinning reels as well as baitcasting reels.

Designed with moderate “tension/firmness” to prevent lines from tangling. This reduces a variety problems related to the lines. Instructors involved in the development of the line have reported reduced problems.

 

 

 

 

 Adopts powerful Spectra®

 

Polyethylene yarn “Spectra®” from Honeywell Co. is adopted. It is about 15 times stronger than iron and is used in a variety of ways, such as bulletproof vests and ropes for ships, in addition to lines.

 

 

 

 

MX2 construction method to improve abrasion resistance

 

MX2 construction method in which a unique treatment is applied between filaments in the surface layer to form a highly crystallized layer. The hardened line surface contributes to improved abrasion resistance and lower elongation. The surface is coated with silicon.
