The Shimano Grappler 8 300M Multicolor Braided Line is a high-performance 8-strand PE braid engineered for offshore and inshore anglers who demand strength, smoothness, and reliability. Designed as part of Shimano’s Grappler series, this braid is built to handle aggressive fish and harsh saltwater conditions. Constructed using premium IZANAS fibers, the line delivers exceptional tensile strength and durability while maintaining a thin diameter for improved casting distance. Shimano’s Heat Sink coating technology helps dissipate heat generated during long fights, protecting the line from damage and extending its lifespan.

The advanced VT (Vertical Tight) construction method ensures all 8 strands are woven evenly under tension, resulting in a smoother, rounder profile with reduced friction—ideal for jigging and long-distance casting. With its multicolor design (color change at intervals), anglers can easily track depth, making it perfect for jigging and offshore applications.

The Grappler name has become synonymous with quality and strength and the new Grappler PE 8 carrier braid is no different. Sparing no cost, this multi colour PE Braid is made from 8 high-end IZANAS fibres and incorporates the Shimano exclusive Heat Sink technology that disperses heat across the coating, reducing damage to the line in those long, hard fights. The VT Construction Method enables the fine braid fibres to be woven evenly at all angles, under high tension. This results in a smoother finish and reduced diameter, which aids in all aspects of casting and jigging across PE 0.8 to PE 8.0.
