A highly rigid and strong cold-forged long crank handle is standard. The hard and sturdy handle body is approximately twice as rigid as conventional handles, and the synergistic effect with the HAGANE body enables direct reeling performance with no power loss.

Internal parts with high strength & corrosion resistance

Stainless steel material with excellent rigidity and corrosion resistance is used in every corner of the washers and other internal parts. Durability is carried through to every detail.

The front portion of the clutch side provides space for thumbing. Smooth access from the clutch operation for fluid control.

A space is provided in front of the perming side to control the fall with the index finger. This allows for thumbing without disrupting the palming.

The spool edges are asymmetrically designed. Each is shaped for easy operation from the body’s thumbing space. The pursuit of usability down to the smallest detail raises the level of fishing.

Newly shaped mechanical brake knob

The mechanical brake knob, which is important for adjusting fall speed, has a larger diameter to make it easier to pick up and operate with the thumb. The synergistic effect with the thumbing space controls the fall.

The spool can be easily replaced by simply removing the bolt using the supplied wrench. *There is no spool compatibility between the XG model and models with other gear ratios.
